ÌÇÐÄlogo has developed governance practices that are based on competence, exhibit transparency, maintain accountability, and contribute deliberately to fulfilling the mission and vision of the university. These governance practices are informed by legislation, by-laws, policies, and procedural documents.
In keeping with the ÌÇÐÄlogo Act and the , ÌÇÐÄlogo has a bi-cameral governance structure consisting of two governing bodies:
Board of Governors – is responsible for the broad oversight of the university, with a primary focus on operational and capital sustainability, along with setting the institution’s overall direction within the post-secondary system in Alberta.
General Faculties Council (GFC) – with authority delegated by the Board of Governors, is responsible for the oversight of all academic and research activities.
