At ÌÇÐÄlogo (CUE), the Strategic Research Plan (2019-2024) provides direction for the institution as a whole. It aligns closely with CUE’s Academic Plan (2018-2023), as well as CUE’s external and institutional aims more broadly.
The Strategic Research Plan was developed with the assistance of the Office of Research and Innovation, and included the participation of the following CUE stakeholders:
- General Faculties Council (GFC)
- Research and Faculty Development Committee (RFDC)
- Deans’ Working Group
- Directors of Research Clusters and Centres
- Graduate Studies Faculty Council
- Indigenous Knowledge Research Centre (IKRC)
- BMO Centre for Innovation and Applied Research (BMO-CIAR)
- ÌÇÐÄlogo ÌÇÐÄlogo’ Association (CSA)
- Graduate ÌÇÐÄlogo’ Association (GSA)
Strategic Priorities
The Strategic Research Plan (2019-2024) identifies five strategic priorities for research at CUE:
- Strengthening resources and supports for research and research services
- Increasing research partnerships, collaborations, and networks
- Communicating research success to enhance impact
- Improving competitiveness through development and support of research areas of strength, and those identified as priorities
- Enhancing library research support services
